Fabrics containing Health Guard helps protect against mosquito-borne illnesses like dengue fever, malaria, and West Nile Virus which has been moving from Africa to middle and northern Europe, and vast areas of North America; also can inhibit odours and discolouration and be free from microbial attack therefore making them hygienic and more durable.
Independent testing has recommended the use of Anti-Mosquito fabric as an insect repellent fabric for clothing:1. Before washing: bacterial inhibition rate >98%; mosquito repellence rate >80%.
After 50 washes in accordance with ISO6330 at normal temperature: bacterial inhibition rate >90; mosquito repellence rate >70%.
